Our client needed to address compressed air usage concerns across their facility without supply interruption while also need accurate and reliable data on air usage to aid in Leakage detection and repair, the Atex rated locations across the site were identified and accessed for suitability and access, with this in place a week long survey across the plant was undertaken by our Factory trained service Team.
The Flexim portable 601 series flowmeter, which is the only Atex Rated Clamp-on meter on the market, was the ideal tool for this application. The meter is suitable for measuring both Gases and liquids with an accuracy of 1% and a repeatability of 0.1%, Our range of Transducers can cover line sizes for 6mm up to 6 meters, The meter also has as standard a full diagnostic menu which allows the user to have transparency on all measuring points, with onboard data logging and back up reporting software we provided full in depth report on each measuring location.
