A large cement plant in Ireland needed to measure feed chemicals for process optimization in their plant, The location on plant were on old pipe which were pitted from years of use.
The location was also located in a dusty environment adding to the harshness of the application.
The noninvasive solution from Flexim was offered by Hanley Technology as the best solution, due to the challenging application Hanley offered to come to site and trial the F601 Portable Flexim flowmeter to prove the technology to the client.
After minimal pipe preparation our portable flow meter provided accurate flow readings which allowed batching of the chemical into the customers process in an accurate and repeatable manner.
The flowmeter achieved accuracies of 0.5% of flowrate which exceeded the client’s expectations on such a touch application,
The customer as a result ordered 2 fixed Flexim 532 flowmeter for their process with to more application to happen in Q3 of 2024,
